You should not create multiple accounts for deceptive purposes, to manipulate the platform, or to avoid restrictions placed on another account.

Creating another account to circumvent a suspension or permanent ban may result in additional accounts being restricted or removed.

  • Stalking
  • Persistent unwanted communication

Never pressure another member to send photographs, personal information, money, or private material.

Profile photographs should be genuine and appropriate.

You should upload photographs that:

  • Represent you accurately
  • Belong to you or that you have permission to use
  • Are appropriate for a matrimonial platform
  • Do not intentionally mislead other members

You must not upload:

  • Pornographic or sexually explicit images
  • Images displaying nudity

Do not use information obtained through Wafaq to harass, threaten, embarrass, or harm another person.

Legitimate personal discussion about your profession or business is not automatically prohibited, but Wafaq should not be used primarily as a marketing platform.

10. No Hate, Violence, or Extremism

Content or behavior that promotes or encourages violence, terrorism, extremist activity, or hatred against people or protected groups is prohibited.

Threats of violence or credible safety concerns may result in immediate account restrictions and, where appropriate and legally permitted, referral to relevant authorities.

11. No Illegal Activity

You may not use Wafaq to facilitate, promote, organize, or participate in unlawful activity.

This includes attempts to use the platform for fraud, exploitation, trafficking, illegal goods or services, or other criminal activities.

12. Respect Boundaries and Consent

Every member has the right to decide:

  • Whether to communicate with another member
  • What personal information to share
  • Whether to share photographs
  • Whether to exchange contact information
  • Whether to meet in person
  • Whether to continue a conversation or relationship

Do not pressure, threaten, manipulate, or repeatedly contact someone who has declined your interest or asked you to stop communicating.

13. Meetings Outside Wafaq

Wafaq does not supervise meetings between members.

If you choose to meet another member in person, consider taking reasonable safety precautions, including:

  • Meeting in a public place
  • Informing someone you trust about the meeting
  • Arranging your own transportation
  • Avoiding sharing sensitive financial information
  • Avoiding sending money before or after meeting someone solely because they requested it
  • Ending the meeting if you feel unsafe or uncomfortable

You remain responsible for your own decisions regarding meetings and relationships.

14. Family and Guardian Involvement

Wafaq recognizes that family or guardian involvement may be important to some members when seeking marriage.

Members may choose to involve family members, guardians, or trusted individuals in their matrimonial process where appropriate.

However, another person's involvement does not give them permission to misuse another member's account, impersonate the account holder, harass members, or violate these Guidelines.

15. Reporting a Member

If you encounter behavior that appears to violate these Community Guidelines, please use Wafaq's available Report or Block features.

Reports may include concerns involving:

  • Fake profiles
  • Fraud or scams
  • Harassment
  • Threats
  • Inappropriate sexual content
  • Impersonation
  • Suspicious financial requests
  • Spam
  • Underage users
  • Other serious violations

Please provide relevant information about the issue without unnecessarily sharing sensitive personal information.

16. Blocking Members

Where the feature is available, you may block another member if you no longer wish to interact with them.

Attempting to circumvent another member's block by creating additional accounts or using other Wafaq accounts to continue unwanted contact may result in account restrictions.

17. False or Abusive Reports

Wafaq encourages genuine safety reports.

However, intentionally submitting false reports to harass, retaliate against, intimidate, or unfairly target another member is prohibited.

A disagreement or rejected matrimonial interest does not by itself mean that another member has violated these Guidelines.

18. Enforcement

When Wafaq becomes aware of a potential violation, we may review relevant information and take action appropriate to the circumstances.

Actions may include:

  • Warning the member
  • Removing content or photographs
  • Restricting certain features
  • Restricting communication
  • Requesting additional verification
  • Temporarily suspending an account
  • Permanently terminating an account
  • Taking other reasonable safety or security measures

Serious violations may result in immediate restrictions without a prior warning where appropriate.

19. Account Verification

Wafaq may request additional information or verification where reasonably necessary to:

  • Reduce fake accounts
  • Investigate suspicious activity
  • Protect members
  • Prevent fraud
  • Confirm account information
  • Maintain platform integrity
  • Comply with applicable legal requirements

Verification does not constitute a guarantee or endorsement of a member's identity, character, background, intentions, or suitability for marriage.

20. Your Responsibility

Wafaq provides tools that help members discover and communicate with potential matrimonial partners.

You remain responsible for evaluating other members and making your own decisions concerning:

  • Communication
  • Sharing personal information
  • Meetings
  • Relationships
  • Engagement
  • Marriage
  • Financial decisions

Take reasonable precautions and report suspicious behavior.
